On an area of 1600m² in Südpark Linz, KVT established an Experience Center in 2021 which displays various engineering services and assembly solutions of KVT.  The Smart Factory Assembly showroom lies in the center of this Experience Center.

In the Smart Factory Assembly showroom, the visitor can see the fully equipped digitized workstation with interconnected screwdrivers, pick-to-light, and presses or various measuring equipment. On the other side of the showroom, the robot-supported assembly station is demonstrating how a robot is moving and picking the right A-part for the assembly worker while the worker is assembling the C-part using the tool and the force instructed on the screen.

The visitor can see and try out personally how the worker is instructed in every work step, and how the data is collected via the intelligent tool and interactive system throughout the whole assembly process. 

Besides, the Smart Factory Assembly showroom, the KVT Experience Center also encompasses a test service lab that offers several tests for the fastening elements, a teardown hall where teardown projects of the customer product are conducted, and a MultiMaterial-Welding machine for demonstration and prototype and small series production. On the 1st floor of the building, a spacious meeting room is available for on-site Tech-Day at KVT for know-how sharing with our customers.
